Crown is a fintech company bringing emerging market money into the digital age. Our job is to eliminate friction in the Brazilian financial system without compromising on safety, compliance, or trust.

We believe programmable money built on open rails is the backbone of the future financial system. Our first product is BRLV, a safe, scalable, highly liquid stablecoin backed 1:1 by Brazilian treasury assets. It is built to become the default settlement layer for BRL in the tokenized economy. The Role

You’ll solve end-to-end, technical and business problems from scratch, with tools that are not industry standard. We use Clojure, TypeScript, HTMX, Pulumi and Hyperscript, and deploy on AWS. There are meaningful domain, web3, distributed

systems, database optimisations and security challenges that you’ll be expected to solve.

You’ll collaborate with a small team, and be expected to learn complex domains fast in order to have productive conversations.

You’ll be expected to work with minimal supervision, but with a highly collaborative team.

We are a small team, and it is our goal to continue being as small as we can. This means that everyone shares a big responsibility towards keeping our services running smoothly, and infrastructure automation is key for scaling our capacity.

You Might
Be a Fit If…

You are fluent in both
Portuguese and English.

You are energized by ambiguity and first-principles thinking.

You’re an experienced Software Engineer, and have a track record of building complex domain software. Bonus if you have experience with financial problems.
